Room 9 and 10 had their first swimming lesson on Tuesday 7th August.

We bused to Jellie Park and got changed in the changing rooms. Then we split into our groups. Some children were in the small pool and some were in the bigger pool. I was in the bigger pool. First we learnt how to get into the pool safely. Then we got to show our teacher how well we could swim. We did some freestyle with arm circles and then some rocket ships through the water. It was lots of fun. My favourite part was jumping into the big pool at the end. I did a big bomb!
