Summer Reading

MGS —

Fantastic summer reading happened for Primary pupils this year...

...and it is great to see photos and read the Reading Logs children had kept. There's always something happening in the Library. Lunchtimes are especially busy. Children have enjoyed sorting the buttons in the jar and reading “Oma’s Buttons”. Games are often popular too with Uno being a firm favourite. “Papercraft” is another book that was recently used to make fantastic snowflakes. It was funny to be making snowflakes at lunchtime when outside we were enjoying one of our very hot days! Reading is always a popular choice too and its lovely to see children finding their own space to sit and enjoy a great book. This week we had a parent join us at lunchtime with some picture books written in Chinese. It was lovely to have the opportunity to hear stories read in another language.
