From the Principal

MGS —

Dear Parents, Caregivers and Whanau,

What an incredible few months it has been during the lockdown under Alert Level 4 and Alert Level 3 due to Covid-19. We can be thankful to God for his faithfulness to us during this time, even though we know many families are experiencing hardship and challenges. It was a blessing to be able to continue with remote/on-line learning for our students and I want to thank everyone for the role they played in supporting the wellbeing and learning of our children.

As we have returned to school under Alert Level 2, there has been a real sense of excitement and enthusiasm from both the students and staff. People are genuinely excited to see each other again and it is a very real reminder that schools are fundamentally about people and relationships, with learning interwoven amongst the many elements that make up education as we know it today.

For us at Middleton Grange our desire continues to be a Christ-centred, student-oriented school, where we foster and develop Christian Character, personal Excellence, Service to God and our community – for the Glory of God.

We are continuing to monitor and support the wellbeing of our staff and students during this time, especially as we all settle back into the routine of school life, so please keep in touch with us if you have any concerns or questions about your child, their academic progress or wellbeing.

We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 15:57

“But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Thank you for your ongoing support of our school; financially, practically and through your prayers.

May our Lord continue to bless us and guide us in the days and weeks ahead as we seek to serve Him and strive to keep Him first and foremost in our lives.

Blessings in Christ
