Over the last few months he has made the NZ Under 16 Orienteering team, 4th in the South Island Cyclo cross champs, 2nd in the South Island Orienteering champs Intermediate division, 3rd in the National Secondary schools long course orienteering champs. He combined with Jay Anderson (Yr 11) to place 3rd in the NZ Rogaine champs, 'Junior division'.

The Hillary team continues to work hard and train together for their upcoming national event in October. Get to go has started weekly trainings for their Canterbury Regional event later this term.

Luke and Jay placed 1st in a recent local rogaine and the senior Hillary team placed 3rd. This is a good result for the senior team considering it is a larger mixed team which needs to move together as opposed to smaller mobile team.
