The Year 8’s thoroughly enjoyed spending the day recently at Willowbank Wildlife Reserve. It was a neat opportunity to see great diversity and explore different structural and behavioural adaptations. The highlight for many students was feeding the eels and getting to learn more about the Kea and Kiwi. A small number of students experienced a Kea land on them - this will be something they won’t forget in a hurry!
