Packhorse Hut

The wind howled like a wolf and rain spitted onto my face,

Packhorse Hut was just a few kilometres away.

Passing bright red toadstools and coffee brown mushrooms,

Two more kilometres and then our destiny was reached,

Brown tussocks brushing onto my legs, grasshoppers and bugs chirping like a bird

700 meters left,

Sweat running down my face,

One more step and our destination is reached!

The trek was so hard

I ate three disgusting grubs

I enjoyed the trek
