It was awesome...

...to see Marisa van der Meer and the U17 Football Ferns at the Halberg Awards last week in Auckland. The team were nominated in four categories, and took out the Favourite Sporting Moment of 2018, the only award voted on by the public, for goalkeeper Anna Leat’s winning penalty kick in the quarter final against Japan.
