Fifty pupils from Middle School and Senior College...

...competed in the Annual ICAS Science competition, a Science test completed by pupils in over 20 countries. There were some excellent results with 12 pupils obtaining Distinction Awards, meaning they had placed in the top 10% of participants. These pupils were Samuel Jun, Chanel Ooi, Shannon Shi, Nathan Turner, Sarah Yeo (Year 7), Ethan Bennetts (Year 9), Jaymin Cho, Diane Kim, Sian Wilkinson, Jung Woo Yi (Year 10) and Benjamin Cummins and Reinhard Woltersdorf (Year 11). We also had two pupils; Annabelle Brownsword and Sun Woo Yi (Year 8) who obtained High Distinctions, awarded to the top 1% of participants. Gaining this award is a particularly impressive result! On top of these we had 14 pupils who received Credit Awards, given to the top 25% of participants. Certificates for pupils who gained Distinction and High Distinction awards have been handed out in assemblies. Other certificates were given to pupils in their Science classes. Well done to all pupils who competed in this annual Science competition.
