The Middleton Grange School orchestra participated in the Christchurch Orchestra Festival at the Town Hall on the 18th September.

They played:

Czadas

Pirates of the Caribbean (medley)

Our young people were amazing. They played to an excellent standard which was recognized by the workshop leaders (1st trumpet ChCh Symphony and Mr Tony Ryan, formerly HOD Music Linwood/composer/conductor).

At all times they conducted themselves extremely well. This was commented on by some volunteers who helped us move around the various areas in the Town Hall. They said that there was a really nice ‘feel” to the group and that they were very pleasant to deal with.

All in all a very successful and honouring trip.
