The Primary School Athletics...

...were held at Rannerdale Fields on Tuesday 25th October. We were blessed with a lovely day with suitable weather for Athletics.

The Year 3 – 6 students took part in a rotation of Sprints, Distance running, Shot Put, Discus, High Jump and Long Jump during the morning. Year 1 and 2 had junior athletics activities at school.

In the afternoon we started with sprint finals, and the Year 1 and 2 children came over and joined us for their sprint events. The final event of the day was the class relays.

We are very grateful to Mr Pomare, Year 10 helpers, and to Steve Wright, our groundsman, for their hard work which ensured a successful day.
