A school ahead of it's time!

One of my trips to Vietnam was by invitation from Nguyen Binh Khiem CauGiay Primary, Secondary and High School (NBK), who were celebrating the 10th anniversary of their Primary School and their Bilingual Programme. There were representatives from schools in China, South Korea and Thailand, as well as universities in Thailand and the UK. Middleton Grange School (MGS) has been a sister school to NBK since 2008 and we were able to renew our Memorandum of Understanding while at this event. 

It was a wonderful occasion! NBK is a remarkable school and the founder, Dr Nguyen Van Hoa, a remarkable man with such vision for his school, staff and the pupils who attend. The curriculum aims to develop not only the students academic ability, but to develop a sense of service, care, love and respect. Dr. Hoa purchased a farm just outside Hanoi where students are taught sporting activities, as well as farming techniques, sustainability and learn about actual produce. While I was there I was fortunate enough to travel to the farm and witness this remarkable school's programmes.
