On Tuesday 24th November, sixty Year 10 students completed the Amazing Race at the University of Canterbury for their work experience. Middleton Grange had the winning team overall. The photo below is the winning team. Students completed a range of activities around the campus which helped them get familiar with the campus as well as find out about some of the different degrees available. Students learnt to navigate, following instructions, work in a team and apply problem solving skills. They had a go at reading some court room documents in the law building, tried a simulated trading experience in the commerce department and became a human computer following yes no instructions in the computer engineering building. They tested their artistic skills and general knowledge along with many other activities.
