On Tuesday 12th June...

...16 pupils were chosen to take part in a Weaving Hui.  Taylor and Ella from Whānau Whanake came and taught the pupils how to make flowers and bracelets out of flax.  The pupils chosen were part of either the Environment Team, Cultural Team or Kapahaka Team.  The pupils were taught that the first thing they made they were to give away to someone else, this was to symbolise passing it on-keeping it going. The pupils had a lot of fun spending the morning this way.
