'Opportunities: make the most of them' and other gems were what a group of Year 12 emerging women leaders were treated to in the early hours of Tuesday morning on the 28th August.

We were so blessed to have the opportunity to be invited to go the the University of Canterbury's Women in Leadership breakfast. The guest speaker Hannah Duder, an Alumni and Leader from UC, inspired and challenged our girls to face the fear and take the most of opportunities presented.

It was challenging to see how Hannah had made the most of her time at UC and taken opportunities put in her path. She is now the CEO of an amazing cruelty free makeup company, who donates 50% of its proceeds to help people regain their sight in the Pacific Islands, all at the tender age of 26!

Thanks to UC for allowing us the opportunity to hear such an inspiring speaker and for feeding us a delicious breakfast.
