On Thursday the 16th of June...

...the Year 6’s went to the Airforce Museum. During our time there we learnt a lot about flight which was very helpful for our topic this term. It was such a great experience, we got to label parts of a plane, make mini planes, and explore the fun classroom. We also got to explore the museum and go on a museum hunt to find different things. We saw some huge aeroplanes, small aeroplanes, helicopters, and we also got to take to turns pressing buttons, taking a turn in the cockpit, and playing the flying game. Going to the Airforce Museum makes us think about how we should remember and honour the people that have sacrificed their lives for our country, and how amazingly God created us, and how people can create such amazing things because of how God made us. We all had a great time and would love to go back.
