An ex-pupil Lisa Wallace is holding her first solo Exhibition, she shares with us below a little of what she is doing.

I am a self taught Christchurch Artist who studied art at Middleton and loves to paint classic yet quirky images to challenge our perception on reality. My paintings vary with a range of beautiful portraitures with surreal aspects through to birds and flowers as I love to intrigue and encourage creative thinking.

The images drop into my spirit from God and I do my part to make them come alive, and bring glory to him. This exhibition will show case a collection of original artworks mostly painted in oils.

The exhibition is called ‘Life is Beautiful’ and is to be held at Rang Ruru Girls school in their Baird Gallery on the 10th and 11th of November with invited guests attending on the Friday eve. Please see the flyer attached for more information.
