On December 14th, the day after ...

... school had finished for 2017, Mr Vanderpyl received an email saying that a band of dastardly criminals had infiltrated D-Block and written graffiti all over the walls.

The reality was, thankfully, rather more inspiring, as members of the Maths Department decided to take advantage of renovations which had begun in the corridors.

Having bare walls was too good an opportunity to miss, so we held a D-Block Blessing Party covering the building in blessings by writing ‘Bible-fiti’ all over the walls.

Numerous scriptures, the MGS Hymn and MGS Prayer may have subsequently been hidden by new pin boards, but as pupils walk through the corridors of upper D-Block they are now literally surrounded by God’s Word.

As Mr Vanderpyl said at the end of the day, “The walls are blessed and the verses are a covering for the block”.

It is our prayer that God’s blessing will continue to be upon our pupils and that they will “enter His gates with thanksgiving and His [classrooms] with praise”!
