Dear Parents and Caregivers,

As you read this message, I will have, Lord willing, arrived in Hong Kong to take up my new position.

I would like to extend to you all my thanks for the support and blessing you are to Middleton Grange School. I praise God for the delight it is to educate your children within a Christian School environment. The beauty of an education that transforms the mind and heart, leading to a life of service to our King!

God has blessed this school over many years and I am thankful that he gave me the privilege of leading the school along with a wonderful team of staff. God is good!

My encouragement to you as parents and to myself is this:

· be the example to your children that you desire them to be. Model a dependence on the Lord, show a reliance on his Word, pray without ceasing, worship God.

· speak well of the school in front of your children. If you have concerns or complaints deal with the school directly. Pray for your child’s teachers.

· do acts of service and compassion. Show your children how to put the needs of others ahead of self-interest.

And above all, do all things for the glory of God!

Please uphold Rod Thompson as interim principal, and the Board as they work through the principal appointment process.
