Staff Changes
"True life is lived when tiny changes occur." Leo Tolstoy
And so onto changes with our staffing.
You will all know Louise Whitehead, who has been at the International College for quite a few years. Louise has decided that she would like to take on some new challenges and so ended her time with us on the 28th of August. Louise has started a brand new and exciting career. We wish Louise every success on this new path, and we do thank her for the exceptional work she has done over her years at MGS. I'm sure you'll agree that we will miss the bubbly person-welcome everyone into the International College.
As you will be aware, COVID-19 has caused significant damage to the international education industry globally. This is the case for Middleton as well. With this in mind, we have decided to combine the role of the Residential Caregiver Coordinator and the Student Services Assistant into one role for the immediate future. We are hopeful that we will bounce back once the borders open, and we will re-look at our staffing situation at that time.
We want to introduce you to (Annie) Xia Bo, who has accepted the Student Services Assistant and Residential Caregiver coordinator position. Annie is an ex-international student of Middleton and studied at the school in 2001 and 2002. Her daughter now attends Primary School. It is wonderful to see someone with Middleton's connections back on board, and we really welcome Annie to our team.
