In Room 14 we noticed that several Primary pupils...

...were starting to ride their scooters to school. We were really pleased to see this change, but we also noticed that the scooters were becoming a hazard and there needed to be a safe storage solution created for them. As a class, we brainstormed what we could do about this problem and we came up with the idea of making scooter stands for all the classes.

After some careful planning, we came up with a plan. Mr Thompson cut out the shape that we had designed for the stands. We then glued and screwed the pieces of wood together. After that, we undercoated the stands and sanded them smooth.

In pairs, we designed how we should paint the stands and we had lots of fun painting our design onto them.

When all the stands were completed, we presented them to their allocated classes.

This was a really rewarding project and we are pleased that the stands are being used every day in the Primary school.
