MGS —

On the 8th and 9th of August, Room 8 hosted pupils from Kwansei Gakuin Junior High School, Japan.

This was a highlight for the children as they were taught a great deal about Japanese culture. Some of the activities included decorating Uchiwa (a Japanese fan), learning to use chopsticks politely, spinning top games and learning Japanese Calligraphy.

The visitors left the children with lots of treats - special rubbers, spinning tops, fans, a book about Japanese calligraphy and some calligraphy pens.

Room 8 have continued practising their Japanese Calligraphy and these photos showcase their efforts in depicting the four seasons.
