On the 27th October Years 7 & 8 had their athletics day. Everyone had dressed up in their house colours with...

...tutus, hair chalk and crazy face paint- just a few ways in which people showed which house they supported. 

On the tennis courts, everyone was split into their age groups. After a small talk from Mr Barlow, we were off to our different activities: discus, shot put, high jump, long jump or sprints. The day passed in a sweaty blur and before we knew it, it was 3pm. 

Unfortunately there was no time for the class or teacher relays which made some people groan. I can't say I was one of them, after spending all day running, jumping or throwing. I was ready to go home. All in all, Athletics Day was a really fun day to be apart of and I'm sure most others would agree with me.
