3D Gingerbread Structures 9FNT

...on gingerbread structures for the last three weeks, making star Christmas trees and Chocolate gingerbread homes. These taught how to handle gingerbread, properties necessary for construction and then partied thecfiner details of royal icing for decoration and to cement structures.

Finally students embellished their shapes with sweets and other decoration to create the environment for their scene eg Christmas trees, people, paths.

It has been hugely rewarding and satisfying, with most surprised just how skillfully and brightly they could create.
