During the last school holidays, Tongxi Fu, Year 10 traveled to Invercargill for the 2023 New Zealand National Table Tennis Championships. This was a 9-day event. Tongxi gained Bronze in the A Grade Open Women’s Championship, Silver in the U19 Girls Doubles Championship, and Gold in the NZ Open Women’s Doubles Championship.

Over the weekend of 4-5 November three students from Middleton competed at the 2023 NZ Super Nationals for Cheerleading in Auckland.

Payton Hutchinson, Year 8 competed in two teams over the two days. Level 2 Sassykatz placed 3rd place in their division and Level 3 Panthers placed 2nd in their division and were Runners up in the Grand Champs.

Peyton Manning, Year 4 competed in Grade 2 for the Icekatz. Her team placed second, missing out on first by only .1. Her team also placed third in Grand Champs.

Mia Gordon, Year 4 competed in two teams over the two days. Her Level 1 Mini team Neonkatz placed 1st in their division and her Novice Youth Small team Superkatz placed 3rd in their division.

Well done to all three girls on their hard work and great results.
