Staff v Students Futsal

...gave these students a once in a lifetime opportunity against a star studded staff team.

Mr ‘Twinkle Toes’ McKenzie was a fan favourite, along with Mr Song who dazzled the crowd once again. There were questions raised as to what team Mr Stanton was playing on, with a number of terrible attempts on goal suggesting he is a far better coach than a player, and he had the crowd on their feet when he finally scored an (own) goal, much to Mr Goldsbury’s disgust.

The students gave it their all, falling behind on multiple occasions but drawing level each time. Mr Rees, Mrs Kerr & Miss Wallace caused the students havoc all game long, and when the staff scored to make it 5-4 with minutes remaining, they held on for a famous victory.

A great afternoon of entertainment, and Futsal (and the staff) was the real winner of the day.
