Adrenalin Forest Year 8

The Year 8s were heading to Adrenalin Forest in Spencer Park halfway through Term 1. Instructions were given to nervous 12- and 13-year-olds about safety on the high ropes and zip lines and then we were off.

Students helped each other on each course, new friendships were made, and trust was built between the Year 8 cohort. Some got in tricky spots and had to yell for parents, teachers and instructors to yell support from the ground, but we all got home in one piece (eventually).

The expressions of students coming back to school on the bus were ones of accomplishment and new-found courage, though exhausted!

Many thanks to the parents who came out to support, the team at Adrenalin Forest and our staff for making the day a memorable one.
