International Leadership Team Training

Firstly, we were introduced to Urban Play, an initiative to establish a play culture in Christchurch City. I particularly enjoyed experimenting with blocks and other materials to build a model of shared spaces. In teams, we had to use our creativity and leadership skills to strategically structure a street for both pedestrians and cars to use simultaneously. After lunch, we discussed how to plan digital stories and we filmed examples of existing 'play' aspects in the city and what 'play' could potentially look like in the future. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, where we learned to have fun and creativity at play in Christchurch City and in our everyday lives.
