Congratulations to Peyton Manning (Year 4), Mia Gordon (Year 4) and Payton Hutchinson (Year 8) who recently completed in the 2023 Eutopia Cheer & Dance Competition. Peyton's team Icekatz came 1st in the Grade 2 Youth division and went onto be named Grand Championship Winners for Grades 2-6. Mia competed in two teams, her team Neonkatz came 1st in the Mini Level 1 division and her team Superkatz came second in the Youth Novice divison. Payton's team the Panthers came 1st in Junior Level 3.

Congratulations to Jennifer Trieu (Year 13) who represented New Zealand at the recent Singapore Open Rhythmic Gymnastics competition in the Senior International category. She placed 14th.

Congratulations to Timothy Yuan (Year 9) who is now competing at a national level in badminton. Timothy has been in the U15 national squad since 2021. Recently during the Canterbury Open he won three U15 championships (single/double/mix) and in the Otago U15 Open last month he won two championships (single and mix). It was a family affair recently at the South Island Championships for Taekwondo. Peter Garratt (Year 7) won a gold medal for Poomsae (patterns) and Lydia Garratt (Year 11) won two gold medals for Kyorugi (sparring). Congratulations to you both on your achievements.

Congratulations to our Sports Captain, Caleb van Eekelen who was part of the Canterbury U19 Volleyball team who won the National title in Napier over King's Birthday weekend. Shout out to former student Daniel Malcolm who was also part of the team.
