Year 8 - Willowbank

...had two successful trips to Willowbank this year. The students learnt about a variety of animals, with several students viewing these for the very first time. The ‘Kea’ and ‘Kiwi’ were popular as were the ‘Gibbon’s’ who put on a playful performance alongside the ‘Otters’. Students never grow old of the farm animals, with so many of these friendly creatures graciously allowing them to get up close and personal. This year, we were blessed with ducklings galore – a sure sign of spring! Once again, thank you to the Science department for arranging this worthwhile trip and to our wonderful parents. A hands-on learning experience for sure.
