Pink Shirt Day 2021

Admin —

Milford School was awash with pink and students who have been learning about bullying and how to be aware of it and what to do when it happens! Huge thanks to the whole school for supporting this initiative for the Mental Health Foundation today. Our learners are Principled and Caring, and they know how to look after their friends, take care of others, and be upstanders, not bystanders. There was a wonderful variety of looks today, with some just wearing a pink top, some in pink head to toe, and others with various shades of pink. Whatever you wore Milford School learners, you are amazing!

Pink Shirt Day is funded by your donations. Your support enables the Mental Health Foundation to run Pink Shirt Day, raise awareness about bullying prevention and provide resources that promote inclusive workplaces, schools and communities.

“Kōrero Mai, Kōrero Atu, Mauri Tū, Mauri Ora – Speak Up, Stand Together, Stop Bullying!”

Go-deli, one of our school lunch suppliers got behind the Pink Shirt Day initiative too and sold pink muffins today as one of the lunch options. 70c from each muffin sold will be donated to Pink Shirt Day.
