Principal's Message

Sue Cattell —

Kia ora whānau. The students are really enjoying the new soccer goals and it is great to see them developing their skills at lunchtime and with their class. Let’s hope for more sunny days so they can utilise them even more.

Next week is Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week) and our Words Around the World Week (Literacy Week). There will be a big focus on words - reading, writing, saying, sharing. Words in Te Reo, English and other languages. Please do check the information coming home so you know when the days for Book Swap and Book Character are.

As I mentioned in the last newsletter, we are having parent/teacher/student meetings on the last Wednesday of term. You can now go on to the SkoolLoop app and book your times. If you have more than one child, please make sure you have a gap between meetings to allow time to get to the next classroom. More information can be found here.

Next Friday, 16 September, is our Year 4-led assembly at 2.15pm in the school hall. All Year 4 parents are warmly welcome to attend.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Ngā manaakitanga

Sue
