It's taken nearly 3 months to process our package but our Terracycle points are finally in! 1,542 oral hygiene products have been processed at the Terracycle depot. That gives us 3,084 points. Together with points from another recycling programme, we currently have 5,402 points. That's worth $54 for Enviro projects around our school. That's something to smile about.

As you can see, it takes a lot of used oral hygiene products to earn a little money. It's not so much about the money though. The purpose of collecting and recycling your oral hygiene products is to keep these normally non-recyclable items out of landfill. Every time we keep items out of landfill, we have more to smile about.
So, keep your smile bright by brushing, flossing and gargling, and send your used oral hygiene products to Room 19 for our recycling programme. That's worth smiling about!
