We were so lucky this Thursday to have a sunny lunchtime. There were lots of jobs to do in the garden, we were so busy! The peas were not having much success by the nets, so the children weeded and cleared the area to prepare for sweet corn. We planted some cherry tomatoes in the garden bed and cut back the flowers to allow for more light. There was a hole in the strawberry patch netting, so Niko very patiently used some strings to sew the hole back together. We also used magnifying glasses and a microscope to look at the 'rust' that has been spotted on the garlic leaves. In the end, we all took home a wedge of cabbage.
