Room 12 welcomed Adnan’s dad into the classroom this week to share his Indian culture with us. He dressed in national costume which are worn on special occasions. We couldn’t quite get our head around the number of people who live in India – 1.4 BILLION (2021)! Some of us didn’t think we had tried Indian food, until we mentioned the names, butter chicken, naan bread, samosa. We learnt that there are 22 languages spoken in India and as there are 22 students in our class we were all given our name written in a different language. Dhonnobad Hussain family.
