If you would like your child to participate in netball this year, then you will need to register them for the 2023 season by Wednesday 30 March 2023.

ALL PLAYERS (NEW AND EXISTING) WILL NEED TO REGISTER ON THIS LINK.

All games start in the week of Monday 1 May (week 2 of Term 2).

Year 1 & 2 - Monday afternoons at Netball North Harbour

• This is a 10 week programme and not a competition. Goals are not counted.

• There are no umpires. The game is controlled by the coaches using their voices.

• Year 1 & 2 play 4 v 4 across one third of a full sized netball court with modified hoops and smaller balls.

• Year 1 & 2 have a 15 minute skill session first, followed by 2 x 8 minute halves.

• Round times on a Monday night are between 3.30pm and 5.30pm

• The cost per player will be $90.00 - payable via Kindo by 6 April 2023 (last day of Term 1)

Year 3 - Monday afternoons at Netball North Harbour

• This is a 12 week programme and is not a competition. Goals are not counted.

• There are no umpires. The game is controlled by the coaches using their voices.

• Year 3s play 5 v 5 - 1 Centre, 2 x Defenders and 2 x Attackers. They play on two thirds of a full sized netball court with modified hoops and Size 4 balls.

• Year 3s play 4 x 10 minute quarters.

• Year 3s skill session is their warm up for the game.

• Round times on a Monday night at Netball North Harbour are between 3.30pm and 6.00pm.

• The cost per player will be $90.00 - payable via Kindo by 6 April 2023 (last day of Term 1)

Year 4 - Monday afternoons at Netball North harbour 

• Year 4s play on Mondays at Netball North Harbour. Round times are between 3.30pm - 6.30pm

• Year 4s play 7 a-side rotational netball, players making positional changes each quarter.

• 4 x 10 minute quarters. Modified hoop height 2.6m and Size 4 ball.

• Round times on a Monday night at Netball North Harbour are between 3.30pm and 6.30pm.

• Teams to supply their own umpire.

• The cost per player will be $90.00 - payable via Kindo by 6 April 2023 (last day of Term 1)

Year 5 - Wednesday afternoons at Netball North Harbour  or Saturday mornings at Westlake Girls

• Year 5s play on Wednesdays at Netball North Harbour. Round times are between 3.30 and 6.30pm

• Round times on a Saturday morning at Westlake Girls High school are between 9.00am and 1.00pm.

• Year 5s play 7 a-side rotational netball, players make positional changes each quarter.

• 4 x 10 minute quarters. Modified hoop height 2.6m and Size 4 ball.

• Teams to supply their own umpire.

• The cost per player will be $90.00 - payable via Kindo by 6 April 2023 (last day of Term 1)

Year 6 - Wednesdays at Netball North harbour

• Year 6s play on Wednesdays at Netball North Harbour. Round times are between 3.30pm - 7.00pm

• Year 6s play 7 a-side netball as per usual rules, ie no modifications. Normal hoop height of 3.05m and size 5 ball.

• 4 x 10 minute quarters.

• Teams to supply their own umpire.

• The cost per player will be $110.00 - payable via Kindo by 6 April 2023 (last day of Term 1) This includes a $20 (refundable) bond for the new Year 6 netball uniform

 Please note that Year 4 - 6 teams will each need a coach, a manager and an umpire. Please consider volunteering for this. The team cannot function without these volunteers. No experience is needed.
