On Tuesday 20th October, Milford School took part in the Bayswater Festival of Football at Allen Hill Stadium, Devonport. This year there was a positive change to the format, requiring each team to have three girls in the team. The skill level shown by both the boys and the girls was superb.

Both teams competed well, with the Year 5/6 team playing some tough games early and finishing strongly with a good win. The Year 3/4 team made it into the semi finals undefeated. Unfortunately their opponents were too strong and they had to settle for the 3rd and 4th play off game, which they won convincingly to finish in third place.
