Waterwise Instructors need for 2022 ⛵

Shona Batty —

Our year 5 and 6 students are fortunate to have the opportunity to sail and kayak at Waterwise, Lake Pupuke. They do this approximately 3 times per term in terms 1,2 and 4 from 11:30 to 3:00. You only need to be present on the days your child/grandchild participates.

We need instructors and parent helpers for our students to do this. You don’t have to be a parent. Grandparents, aunties, uncles are all welcome. You will have to be double vaccinated and provide your vaccination certificate.

1 instructor + 1 parent help in a rescue craft = 4 craft (sailing and or kayaking)

The more instructors we have at a session, the more time our students get on the water. We have enough crafts to have the whole class on the water. We just don’t have enough instructors.

NO EXPERIENCE – DON’T WORRY full training provided.
