Gardening Club

Iris Leng —

It is another busy Thursday lunchtime for Gardening Club! Thanks to the tamariki's hard work in the past two weeks, the weeds that had grown wild over summer were cleared out of the gardens. This meant that our gardens could start afresh with new plants this week. Firstly, we mixed some compost and fresh soil into the garden beds. Then we dug small holes and planted the seedlings in. Rockets, mesclun and basil were planted today. We also made sure to water the seedlings after planting.
