To help raise awareness about Fair Trade we invited children from across the school to research and create a poster about Fair Trade or Fair Trade products. There were two categories: Juniors (Years 1 - 3) and Seniors (Years 4 - 6). We had more than 70 entries into the competition.

Winning posters were selected on their eye-catching design and their message. Judges, Michelle Clark and Ellen von Collas, were impressed by the effort that had gone in to so many of the posters, making it a difficult choice. However, the following winning entries were selected: 

Junior Winners: 
1st place -  Oliver Ling - The Hive

3rd place - Giselle R19

Senior Winners: 
1stplace - Julie Kinley R1
2nd place - Kees & Jin R4
3rd place - Andy, Nathan & Blair R4

Congratulations to our competition winners, who received Fair Trade chocolate bars (1st & 2nd prizes) or a Fair Trade banana muffin (3rd prize). 

Thank you to all who participated for your amazing efforts and creativity. All posters will be on display in the hall at our Fair Trade Friday event this afternoon, open for students from 2-3pm and open for parents from 3-3.30pm. 

Our raffle prize winners will be drawn at 3.30pm. First prize $100 Fair Trade food and drink products. Second Prize $50 Fair Trade health prize. Third prize: Fair Trade Hot Chocolate and a special chocolate bar. Tickets only $1 and available until just before the draw. You've got to be in to win!
