Year 4 students in Room 10 have been busy creating Window Into My Lockdown Art. The Art lesson encouraged students to share the ideas, feelings, and stories communicated by their own and others’ objects and images from their personal lockdown experiences. First we began by brainstorming all of the things that helped to keep us entertained during the lockdown period. We were challenged to come up with at least 10. Then we designed a logo or symbol to represent each aspect of our lockdown. We had a lot of fun talking to each other about our experiences and comparing and contrasting the things that were similar and different to one another. These are some of our finished artworks.
