In line with our Unit of Inquiry, Where We Are In Place And Time, we have been learning all about how accommodation changes over time in response to need and environment.

We looked at the Key Concepts form and function through researching different types of homes. During the research the children learnt homes can look very different depending on their environment.

For our Unit project the children had to decide on a purpose for their home and research the features of their chosen environment or need. The next step was to design their home and create it. The children shared their finished projects on Zoom and reflected on their learning by giving feedback to others. Have a look at our amazing model houses that we created!
