This week, Year 5 had an exciting trip to the Chelsea Sugar Factory. During our visit, we were treated to a tour of the factory, where we saw the process of sugar creation from giant sugar mountains sourced from various countries around the world to the familiar products displayed on supermarket shelves. The highlight of our tour was the opportunity to try some syrups made by Chelsea Sugar. We also participated in a baking workshop where we had the chance to create Chocolate Chip Cookies.
