Mana Enhancing Relationships – Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L)
At Milford School, we use Mana Enhancing Relationships through the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) framework to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
PB4L is a school-wide approach focused not just on managing behaviour, but on teaching our students the skills they need to make good choices, build strong relationships, and thrive socially and academically.
We do this by:
Clearly defining and teaching expected behaviours.
Consistently acknowledging and rewarding positive actions that align with our school values.
Using evidence to track our progress and make informed adjustments to our restorative practices.
Collaborating with students, staff, and families to build a safe, inclusive, and respectful school culture.
Our school values—Caring, Principled, and Communicator—are at the heart of everything we do.
Mana Enhancing Relationships (PB4L) and our school values support our vision of growing respectful, responsible, and successful learners in a community where every student feels valued and empowered to achieve.
