In classroom music, as part of our "How we express ourselves" PYP units, we are inquiring into a very famous composer - Ludwig Van Beethoven who would have been 250 years old this year if he were still alive!!! He is inspiring us to compose, because he was and still is one of the most influential composers of all time. Ask your children some facts about Beethoven - he is fascinating!! In addition to senior classes learning how to play Ode to Joy (the melody from Beethoven's 9th symphony), the school orchestra are learning how to play it.
