Results from the Great Kiwi English , Science and Mathematics Competition - administered by the University of Canterbury - Centre for Assessment and Monitoring.

This is the second year we have offered children the opportunity to take part in these competitions - with only a small number taking part in 2018. All children from Milford School can be very proud of their achievements.

Certificates have been issued to all children with the following classification:

ENGLISH

• Congratulations to Sasha Shepherd and Hannah Smith in Year 6 and Ben Xiong in Year 5 who all achieved an Excellence Award.
• David Geertsema, Jake Macken, Aidan Procter, Timothy Sun and Grace Young in Year 6 along with David Dong, Filbert Josowidjojo and Peter Zhou all achieved a Merit Award .
  
• Kiyar Ramphal and Olivia Hou in Year 6 and Charlotte Smith, Chanithi Liyanage and Miriam Hong in Year 5 were all granted an Achieved Award.

MATHEMATICS

• Congratulations to Ben Xiong and Peter Zhou in Year 5 who achieved an Excellence Award.
• David Geertsema, Sasha Shepherd, Hannah Smith, Owen Sun and Grace Young in Year 6 all achieved a Merit Award.
• Timothy Sun, Aidan Procter, Jake Macken, Olivia Hou and Reuben Hodgson in Year 6 and Chanithi Liyanage, Filbert Josowidjojo and David Dong in Year 5 were granted an Achieved Award.

SCIENCE
