Play resumed at Takapuna Cricket Club in the Kookaburra Cup competition league for a group of Milford School students on Friday 10th February. The first game back after the holidays was Finals Night with the prize being the coveted Kookaburra Cup.

Milford school played a hard fought match against Campbells Bay school with some great batting, bowling, wicket keeping and catches. It was a tense match but Milford school clinched the win, the first time in its nine year history and hold the trophy until next year. 

It was a great team effort! Congratulations boys - Kookaburra Cup 2022/23 Winners! Milford players included: Ryder G, Oscar W, Ged J, Nicholas C, Leo L, Mikaere W, Luke B, MacKenzie A and Charles B
