On Thursday afternoons some Year 2 children have been loving the chance to play in a team. Their enthusiasm and sportsmanship is a joy to watch. Here are some words from the players themselves.

• Touch rugby is very hard but we still win some games. I like running with the ball to get a score. Mina 
• I love playing touch rugby. It gives me exercise and I also like watching games. Maia
• I like touch rugby because I get lots of tries. I get very hot and need lots of water. Ged 
• I like running and trying to get goals. Whenever I touch someone, I roll the ball and don't complain. Piper 
• The best thing about touch rugby is being with my friends who care about me. I was so excited that Mrs Snowball came to watch us. Ruby 
• I like being on the field playing touch. This is my second year playing. Isabelle
