What a busy couple of weeks we've had in Year 3! Last Wednesday it was our trip to Auckland Zoo to learn more about sustainability. After all our lockdowns it was fantastic to get on the bus and take a trip somewhere. Of course we were thrilled to see so many of our favourite animals. We learnt all about composting and how easy it is to compost so much of your kitchen waste in your own garden. If you're not up for composting, you could always buy some Zoo Doo from Auckland Zoo, home-grown by the herbivorous animals, to help your garden grow. Elephant poo was ... not so ew!
