Acting Principals Message
Kia ora e te whānau. What a wonderful way to end our term celebrating Literacy Week and Chinese Language Week! Students have dressed up, attended storytimes with guest speakers and so much more! The newsletter is full of these wonderful experiences and celebrations.
Sara and I have been in the Acting Principal role this term and we have felt very privileged to have been in this role, at such a wonderful school, however, we are very much looking forward to having Sue back with us next term and hearing about her sabbatical - we have missed her!
A huge thank you to all our staff who have delivered remote learning, supported our bubble at school during Level 3 and kept everything going behind the scenes, we are very lucky to have such a wonderful, dedicated and caring staff.
We also wish to thank our Milford Whānau we do appreciate the support from you during distance learning, we understand how tricky it can be working and learning from home!
We wish you and your children a restful and fun break. I am hoping for a move to Alert Level 2 so we can once again see all their smiling, friendly faces back at school in the new term.
Thinking of you and your families. Stay safe and please don’t hesitate to contact Sue, Sara or myself if you have any questions.
