Over the weekend of 21/22 November two of our Year 3 students, Zac and George took part in the 10K race of the Queenstown Marathon. They had a great day, both running together. They did so well (they were faster than their mothers!) and what’s more they were really supportive of each other and encouraged each other along both sprinting the last 1K to cross the finish line together. They even got a mention on the loud speaker!

Harry (George’s older brother in Year 6) also completed the 10K, in less than an hour! This was Harry’s second fun run this month having also completed the 11K Auckland Bridge run earlier this month.
